The Balmis, is intended to be a daily companion. The design corresponds to the typical Navajas style, the traditional Spanish folding fighting/utility knife. Designed as a framelock, this knife features extreme cutting ability thanks to the elongated blade with full flat grind and very finely ground bevel. The robust sheepfoot tip makes it brilliantly suitable for any cutting task.
The elongated titanium bolster adds a touch of elegance, which also integrates into the function of the frame lock. The high quality Bohler M390 blade has a very good edge retention, which guarantees a long enduring work. The ergonomic handles, made of Fat Carbon Fiber, come in 2 styles: Toxic Storm and Mars Valley. There is also a micarta option.
This knife also features a tip up pocket clip, inscribed with the designer's, Miguel Barbudo, last name.
This knife is an superb combination of M390, carbon fiber, and titanium hardware. It is 8.3" overall, while the blade is 3.74" and 0.15" thick. Blade is opened with back flipper tab. There's also a lanyard hole and black double zippered case, for other carry options.
