Zippo

Zippo - The steep history of the Zippo lighter can be traced back to one man. George G. Blaisdell invented the famous Zippo lighter in 1932 in Bradford, Pennsylvania. He got this idea after seeing his friend try to use a bulky, awkward Austrian pocket lighter. He kept the design aspect of the chimney, which kept the flame lit even in adverse conditions. Zippo lighters are designed to be windproof, which is what made them so popular with the armed services, especially in WW2. Throughout the years, the Zippo Lighter Company has introduced many different series of lighters. First was the sports model, then came the dedication to the armed services, and today you can find a Zippo lighter in almost any themed design.  Check out our infinite selection today!
