Designed as a versatile EDC tool with fast one-handed opening thanks to SOG Assisted Technology (SAT), the hardcased black TiNI finish SOG Flash II Straight Edge Tanto Folding Knife is outfitted with a 3.5" AUS-8 stainless steel blade and a convenient piston lock mechanism that is easy to use one-handed, even while wearing gloves. There is also an additional safety lock that holds the bladed closed to prevent accidental activation, and shows red when it is ready to go. Its tanto blade style is designed with a prominent tip for punching through wood, metal, and plastic and a thick blade heel that reinforces the tip; while the straight-edge gives full access to the entire cutting surface.
