Kubey Bluff Knife Review – Flame Anodized Precision and Power

Welcome back, knife enthusiasts! Today, we're diving into a sleek new addition from Kubey Knives — the Bluff. If you’re into high-quality materials, clean aesthetics, and everyday reliability, you’re going to want to stick around for this one.

Before we jump into the details, don’t forget to check out our other blog reviews and take a look at our YouTube channel if you enjoy content like this. Let’s get into it.

First Impressions: The Box

Right out of the gate, Kubey sets a premium tone with its packaging. The box sports a minimalist matte black design, featuring the Kubey logo in clean, modern font front and center. On the back, you'll find product details and branding — nothing too flashy, but definitely classy.

Inside the box, Kubey includes a few thoughtful extras:

  • Microfiber cleaning cloth

  • Branded stickers

  • And of course, the star of the show: the Kubey Bluff knife itself, safely wrapped and ready for action.

Design & Variants

The Kubey Bluff comes in 10 unique variants, but today we’re looking at the Flame Anodized Titanium version. It's a real head-turner with its vibrant, almost iridescent handle that plays with light in all the right ways. This model is available now and should be in stock on most major knife retailers — including ours!

Handle & Ergonomics

  • Material: Titanium (Flame Anodized)

  • Lanyard Hole: None

  • Pocket Clip: Yes

  • Clip Position: Right-hand only (non-reversible)

The handle is 4 inches long, offering a comfortable grip with a sleek profile. Despite its slim frame, it feels solid and secure in the hand, with a well-balanced weight that speaks to its titanium build. The absence of a lanyard hole helps maintain its clean aesthetic, though that might be a dealbreaker for some.

Locking Mechanism

The Crossbar Lock is quickly becoming a fan favorite for its strength and ease of use, and Kubey executes it flawlessly here. It’s snappy, secure, and easy to disengage with either hand.

The M390 blade is razor sharp out of the box and built to hold its edge through extended use. The drop point design makes it an excellent all-rounder for EDC, while the bead blast finish keeps things subtle and stealthy. The jimping on the spine is just aggressive enough to offer extra grip without being uncomfortable.
