Guess what? We've got another AK Trivia Question for our AK'ers! A winner will be chosen at random from the correct answers posted below. The winner will receive a personal shoutout from Cee & Just Jul on an upcoming AK Blade episode, which will be released on YouTube, Rumble and here on our blog. Good Luck!
The Question is: What is a "sgain-dubh" and where would one traditionally carry it on their person?
Good luck to all and we hope you have a knife day!
A small, single-edged knife worn tucked into the hose as part of traditional Scottish Highland dress along with the kilt.
The sgain dubh was originally hidden (often in the armpit) and later placed in the sock. (Makes me really appreciate pockets and belt sheaths!)
A traditional Scottish knife worn with their kilt and outfit and partially under the leggings with the top of the knife sticking out.
When Italians are talking on a phone line they know is bugged, it’s slang or code for… Say it again, dumb-ass.
The Sgain Dubh knife is a Scottish traditional dagger for when you are wearing a kilt. The pommel usually has a large gemstone such as a citrine.
