  • Al buck with it being put on there 110 models but goes back further to France, Italy, Spain and England in the 15th. Century.

  • Hoyt Buck was credited with the backlock on the model 110

  • Al buck popularized and “invented” the modern lockback mechanism. I think it was the Buck 110, but the original lockback idea goes all the way back to 1600’s Spain.
